Country Joe and The Fish.

An American rock group that formed in 1965.
Disbanded in 1970.

Famous around the Vietnam war.

The band featured 'Country' - 'JOE McDONALD'
Lead Vocals

'BARRY MELTON' - 'The Fish'
Lead Guitar.

They were the co founders of the band and added musicians when needed.

They played at the Filmore East and West during their time and also appeared at The Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 and the Woodstock in 1969.

Barryr Melton formed 'The Dinsaurs' with members Peter Albin - 'Big Brother Holding Company' and the late Jim Cipollini of 'Quick Silver Messenger'.
